Kore

This is sort of a tribute to or my modern version of life like statues sometimes used in temples or as grave markers in ancient times. They were meant to capture the ideal female or male figure. Polykleitos and ancient Greek art influences this illustration as well as 1point perspective. 3 factors that will remain a constant here on out...

Hydroplane

So this was meant as an exercise in 1point perspective.

Lunatree

One of my fav's

Wicked tree

Again, top was done a while back. The trick was blending the bkgd and bottom in.

Bat Flag

The next 3 pieces are from about 2 years ago that i revisited and brought back to life.

This sketch in particular was something I saw one evening on a trip back from Boston. I happened to look out the window in a half asleep daze and saw a flag of the side of the road(fortunately I wasn't driving).

Alpha Tyger

The new king of the jungle.
Another Fun project for Planet 66.
For more vectors you can also see my website
http://moses-garcia.net/

Diamond

Been a while but I finished a new site about a week ago for my Mom's shop in long Island, they do grrreat work and deserve all the gratuitous plugs I can give'em. http://diamondupholstery.net/
The pictures of the merchandise in the site were mostly taken by my cousin who does great work aswell ( hmmm, gotta get a link to his work) but besides that I did all the photoshop work, logo design & branding. In short everything else and the rest is history.
Felt good.

I am Zombie

Wraith

Merman!

Gonna post my previous sketches before I start making some new ones in the coming days.. My style has freed up alot in some areas but when I was making this one I was...don't know what I was thinking, Ode to the Merman perhaps. Why do the mermaids get all the press?...Oh yeah, I know why

Mummy Returns (Daddy)

Nasty overbite...

The Host

Angel Warrior

Yorik...

I knew him well.

Seeker

So this guy is just meant to scare you. When I was drawing him I started to scare myself I think. This was the point where I really started to think outside the box.

Mummy

Tiny Dancer

Mosferatu

This next few are going to be characters I created a while back. I tend to lean towards darker territory as you will see but that doesn't mean it can't be fun either.

Rokr Penguin

So this is the 1st entry & my latest project. He was designed for a client of mine called Planet 66. They always ask me to do an endangered animal which I think is a great idea to promote awareness for the cause.
This guy is all Illustrator drawn over the original jpeg of the penguin. Afterward I added the bling which I think took it to another level.
Enjoy, much more to come...
